Keep your mind and emotions together if you want your outer life to be organized. A disorganized mind leads to disorganized feelings and emotions since your thoughts create your reality.
These are some thoughts from a teacher of mine. There are a number of reasons why writing stuff down, making lists, and staying organized makes your life better. One reason it helps: you don’t have to use your energy to remember things once you’ve written them down (and made them easy to find). This frees up your energy to work on and think creatively about more interesting things like new projects. Also, it’s not good for the mind to be always thinking and racing about. That is exhausting and it blocks new ideas from being formed.
When I stay organized at work and at home, my mind is more clear and I’m less burdened by the demands of life. Also I have a better sense of my priorities and make better decisions in terms of what to work on next!
